Guided Journeys

Guided Journeys

Come closer to a place, together.

Some places are best experienced with people who know them well, and together with others.

Maison V Guided Journeys bring together small groups of travellers around a particular region, interest or story. Rather than following a standard sightseeing formula, each journey is built around the character of the place and the people who bring it to life.

A journey might explore Burgundy through its producers and villages, Champagne through its makers and landscape, or Japan through sake, food, traditional hospitality and craftsmanship.

Each trip includes transport, hotels, select meals and experiences and is meticulously planned and accompanied by the Maison V Founders bringing our insight, stories and hands-on expertise to the experience so all you have to do is arrive and enjoy.

A Maison V signature

Maison V Provenance Sessions

Signature experiences. Rooted in place. Shared together.

Every destination has its own defining flavours, traditions, landscapes and stories. Some are best understood around a table; others emerge through a conversation with a producer, a visit to a working atelier or the discovery of a craft passed between generations.

Maison V Provenance Sessions bring these elements together through experiences designed to celebrate the character of a region. Each session may combine exceptional bottles, expressive cuisine and enriching exchanges, set amongst the places and landscapes that make a destination distinctive.

Within a Maison V Guided Journey, these sessions create moments to experience a place more deeply and to share that discovery with others. A special dinner, a wine or sake encounter, a local craft workshop or a visit with a producer can become a defining moment of the journey, connecting the people around the table with the culture and traditions beyond it.

Sample itineraries

How a journey might unfold

Samples only, to show the shape of a journey. Each confirmed journey will have its own itinerary, dates, inclusions and pricing, published once confirmed.

Burgundy, through its producers and villages

Arrive and settle in with a welcome dinner. Days among the vineyards and villages of the Côte d’Or, meeting producers, tasting where the wines are made and eating the food they belong with. A Provenance Session at the table, time in Beaune, and a final lunch before departure.

Champagne, from vineyard to cellar

Reims and Épernay as the base. The great houses alongside smaller growers, the landscape that explains the wine, cellars cut into the chalk, and dinners that pair the region’s bottles with its cooking. A Provenance Session with a maker, and time to explore at your own pace.

Japan, through sake, food and craftsmanship

A brewery town as the starting point: a working sake brewery, the people behind it and a tasting at the source. Regional food, a traditional ryokan stay with an onsen, time with a craftsperson, and the slower Japan that sits beyond the itinerary of the main sights.
